Very modern, well kept rooms along with common room facilitis. Good quality breakfast. Quiet place to stay.
There is no bus service to city centre on Sundays. When I checked in, the reception person couldn't find my booking made online. There were vacancies anyway, so she just registered me as a walk in. If the place had been full, I might have been disappointed.
The best thing is very secure place.
I had a single en-suite room. The shower was so small even you can't rotate and use the soap properly. and all the water during shower comes into the room. In the kitchen I found the chicken had been placed in the fridge for a long time and smell very bad. It was my first time stay there.
Good security, cheap, clean, very safe accomodation. Close to Ulster museum which is free and well worth visiting also the botanical gardens.
Poor quality breakfast food. Shower inflexible
Queens is a lovely district with lots of reasonably priced restaurants and bars around, also just a short hop into the centre. Although the Elms rooms are small they have the basics and WIFI. The complex itself is very secure and provides facilities such as a small supermarket, laundry, computer room and restaurant. All staff were very helpful and it was quiet for sleeping at night.
It is a very good place for relax. I missed out a my night out because I deeply slept in silent house, that surrounded by trees.I woke up next day morning. And I had a my breakfast in a common kitchen room at 4 am morning, based on a self service. From Elms village to city center is 25 minutes by walking and Botanic garden is just 10 min by walking from Elms village. There, you can enjoy rose's collection and trees. There is, one surprised news is: The world wide famous ship "Titanic" made in Belfast. I was not known "Titanic" made by Irish people. If someone want to see this place, which made this famous ship than by walk just 45 min from Elms village.
Bathroom has not got a shower head, that can to move.
the location was the main reason, but the price came a close second. it is ideal for a 2 or 3 night leisure visit to belfast. having the use of the kitchen area enables you to keep costs down rather than eating out at night. breakfast was included and very nice.
no tv in the room would be an issue if you were in early evening.
Very good value for money, simple student room (single room) with an attached bathroom
friendly staff very helpfull ,breakfast excelent ,location good .Have stayed there before and would do again ,and would also reccomend it to others .Found it very quiet ,so no problem getting to sleep .Good value for the money
It was very quiet and had a kitchen
Cost and proximity to university. Reception was very helpful and well organized.
Getting hook up to internet. It was very intermittment and without a cell phone I could not ask for assistance from the help desk.
The sound proofing is really bad and every time a door is shut it reverberate loudly as is the sound of the person in the room above walking around, I found it very difficult to get to sleep until very late in the night. I doubt I would want to stay at Elms again for these reasons. Which is unfortunate because otherwise its a really nice place.
The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to respond to and assist with my queries - for example, an initial confusion over the readiness of my room was resolved quickly and with apologies and good humour, and I was also able to check out at 4.30am to catch an early flight, because the reception is manned 24 hours a day. It offers safe, self-contained, well-located accommodation, and I will certainly choose Elms Village again when I return to Belfast - hopefully for a longer stay.
Secure, comfortable, reasonably priced, great breakfast in the morning and perfect location for getting to the city centre.
Affordable, simple and comfortable. Check in is quick and easy.
The one issue was that the internet provided free with your room didn't work, but apparently this was an error with just my room, not the whole system.
fair price. safe environment. convenient location.
shower and bathroom were a bit moldy. bed was not very comfortable.
